Description
Miswak is a traditional natural toothbrush that has been used for oral hygiene for thousands of years. The sticks come from the Salvadora persica tree, also known as the toothbrush tree. The natural fibers contain beneficial compounds that help clean teeth, fight bacteria, and freshen breath without any artificial chemicals. To use, peel back the bark at one end and chew until the fibers form a brush-like tip. Replace the brush end when it becomes worn.
How to Use a Miswak Stick
1. Peel: Peel off about 1 centimeter of the outer bark from one end.
2. Chew: Gently chew the exposed inner tip until it becomes fibrous and forms a brush-like structure.
3. Brush: Brush your teeth gently with the bristles, similarly to using a toothbrush.
4. Trim: Once the bristles wear out, chew them off and repeat the process.
5. Maintain: If the stick becomes too dry, soak it in water for a few hours before use.
